The James Bay Wild Canadian Goose Down is the finest goose down available in the world. It is collected from wild geese in the Canadian North by Cree Indians under special license from the Canadian Government. Because of it's superior clinging ability it must be meticulously hand sorted. This wild down has a loft of over 800 cubic inches, and because of it's high density and cling, it insulates like Eiderdown. It is incredibly soft and ligweight, and this down will last for generations.
While this down tests at 800 loft, its high density gives it the equivalent insulating power of 850 points. It is actually more rare than Eiderdown.
About The Pillowcase
The zippered outer cover of the pillowcase is a 460 thread count, 60% silk and 40% cotton Jacquard. Underneath that 60/40 cover is a special German made 100% cotton that is also completely dust mite proof. There are no chemical finishes, just pure natural cotton that is specially woven to make it permanently down proof and mite proof even after repeated washings. To achieve a sealed seam, there is no piping.
How To Care For Your Pillow
This pillow is machine washable. We recommend washing these pillows individually and only when soiled. A good quality machine washable pillow protector is strongly recommended. The zippered silk/cotton cover must be drycleaned.
